1st Place at Teens in AI Albania — Representing Albania Globally

The prestigious Teens in AI Albania event, part of the global Teens in AI initiative, held its first edition in Albania, bringing together over 200 participants from public and private schools across the country.

Team 16 — Andi Xhafaj, Dea, Keila, Orion, and Almir — was awarded 1st Place with their project CALMIFY, an intelligent health-monitoring solution that measures physiological signals, learns normal patterns, detects anomalies in real time, and alerts users to support early intervention and overall well-being.

The project received the highest evaluation and was recognized among the most innovative solutions of the event, highlighting the team’s excellence in artificial intelligence, scientific thinking, and real-world problem solving.

Following this achievement, the team will represent Albania at the global Teens in AI event, joining young innovators from around the world to showcase their work on an international stage.

They had the opportunity to present and explain key artificial intelligence concepts applied to medicine, highlighting how AI can support clinical decision-making, medical data analysis, and the future of personalized healthcare, contributing to meaningful discussions among healthcare professionals.
